Stovetop Lasagna

I'm a big fan of lasagna  but sometimes it takes a while to make. So this is a fairly fast way. It got tons of compliments at a few family parties.

Stovetop Lasagna
1lb hamburger
1 Small Chopped Onion
3 Cloves Minced Garlic
1 1/4 C Water (I always add more while it's finishing cooking.)
1C Diced Tomatoes (Undrained)
8 oz. Tomato Sauce
1 TBSP Dried Parsley Flakes
1 TSP Dried Basil Leaves
1 TSP Dried Oregano Leaves
 TSP Salt
2 1/2 C Broken up Lasagna Noodles
Mozzarella Cheese to sprinkle on top (I sprinkle a LOT)!

1. Brown hamburger with onion and garlic in a big skillet. I cook my pasta a little while cooking the meat. Don't cook it all the way, just a little to speed up cooking later.

2. Drain the meat.

3. Put all of the other ingrediants in the skillet with the meat. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally.

4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until pasta is done.

5. Sprinkle (or dump) cheese on top and serve.
